The main reason in using so many coupons, mainly tons of coupons for the same product, is so you can stockpile. When you find a really hot deal where you can essentially get the item for really cheap or even better, FREE you want to get as many as you can. When you do this you won't have to worry about that particular item for a certain amount of months. It may take you some time to start the stockpile and you will not see an immediate difference in your grocery bill but you will notice that your stockpile is growing and you will not need to buy as much as time goes on. Eventually the only things you will need to buy are staples like milk, produce and bread.
I've been stockpiling for several months now and I no longer have to buy shampoo, conditioner, soaps. Mainly health and beauty aids. I am set for at least a year on those. Here is my stockpile!
We bought these two shelving units from craigslist.org for $40 each and they are a lifesaver. Standing about 10 feet tall and completely filled with Health and Beauty products.

This is our food pantry. Kind of unorganized at the moment but we are working on it as I type.

Now this is our seperate drink hutch. We store all of our soda in here. I am still heading out for a deal at Target this week for more pepsi so this will be FULL by the weeks end.
Now this is our freezer inside the house. Slightly empty because we have been eating the Kashi pizzas so that I can buy more on monday.
We recently bought a chest freezer for the garage which is now completely full.
Last night we decided to go out and get an upright freezer for the garage because we just didn't have enough room in the other two. We scored this freezer in excellent working condition for $55 on craigslist.org. Can't wait to fill it with EGGO waffles!
